# Bag Eight – Circle Shaped Hotness

Bag Eight is a technical exercise in spontaneous composition, centered on a 9-inch circular silhouette. The front panel features a non-linear mixed-media collage, where hand-cut textile fragments are layered to create a high-contrast, abstract landscape. This assembly process moves away from repetitive patterning, favoring a “random-access” design philosophy where the final visual rhythm is determined by the physical interaction of the scraps during the construction phase.

### The bag’s structural integrity is reinforced by a caramel-colored, faux-croc vegan leather gusset.

This material choice provides a durable, protective base while introducing a textured, “insouciant” aesthetic contrast to the soft textile face. The hardware is finished in antique brass, featuring industrial-grade metal zippers that ensure longevity for daily use. Measuring 9 inches in diameter, the satchel balances a compact footprint with a reinforced gusset engineered to maintain its shape even when placed on external surfaces.

Internally, the bag utilizes a high-contrast teal print lining, providing a deliberate visual departure from the outer collage. The interior architecture includes a dedicated zip pocket and a secondary slip pocket, maximizing the organizational utility of the circular frame. Every element, from the hand-stitched art panel to the faux-leather handle, is designed to bridge the gap between functional accessory and archival art piece, positioning the bag as a durable alternative to mass-market luxury goods.
