Halloween 2022

The past few years we've had a scarce number of trick or treaters at our house, so I decided that making some Halloween art would be a great way to celebrate.

When I was a kid, I used to love Halloween.  When I was in my early twenties I absolutely loved dressing up and going out for a fun evening on the town.  The past few years we’ve had a scarce number of trick or treaters at our house, so I decided that making some Halloween art would be a great way to celebrate.

Witches Cauldron is a series of six versions of the same scene – a witch in the woods, stirring up something… and only she knows if it’s for the good or the bad among us –

These guys have gone to their temporary home in historic Pt Richmond, CA – Mom N Pop Art Shop

NOTE – these are unframed – mats only.

Bag Nine – The Metropolitan Tote

For two solid months, I couldn’t figure out what this scrap was trying to tell me.

Bag One – Ground Zero, Really

The original prototype bag – this is it.

Bag Five – Mini Bucket Bag – Dark Teal Croc

I even had a hot moment where I dreamt that every bag should have an easy drawstring closure AND a thin shoulder strap that detaches!

Bag Seven – Embellished Maximalism

The benefits of actually doing some maths become crystal clear on this build.

Bag Eight – Circle Shaped Hotness

I started putting the pieces together and the next thing you know I had a round bag face, staring back at me.

Bag Two – Not the Same At All, Really

Bag Two offered me the opportunity to design a bag completely from scratch. It also taught me I needed to learn more about how to construct a bag properly.

Bag Five – Mini Bucket Bag – Zebra Print Chenille

I really can’t decide if the correct idea is to pet it or carry it around.

Bag Four – Bowler Style Weekender

Bag Four was a bit more difficult to make; I hadn’t created anything with this kind of structure previously. The main requirement was to be able to sit the bag on the handle of a rollaboard suitcase.
