Statuette of Huwebenef

ca 1550-1479 BC. New Kingdom. Like other early New Kingdom statues, Huwebenef has a slender body, delicate features, and unusually large eyes. The statuette has a separate wooden base with a funerary inscription by Huwebenef's father, Djehuty.
